Bounty Killer CROSS over “fake flour”

Dance-hall deejay Bounty Killer is the latest entertainer to express concern regarding fake food items allegedly seeping into Jamaica.

First it was the plastic rice, cabbage and lettuce, now a video of what appears to be plastic flour has been making the rounds on social media.

Bounty Killer on his Instagram page shared the video which shows someone stirring what appear to be johnnycakes in a pot. With every stir the dumplings sag as its contents dissolve looking like a white gel type liquid.

Bounty Killer used colourful words to describe the country he believes is responsible for the fake flour.

Meanwhile, checks made by Music News to the Bureau of Standards reveal that there is currently no evidence to show that fake flour is in Jamaica.

Late last year, the authorities also rubbished claims that plastic food such as rice, lettuce and cabbage were on the island.
