The United States has granted Busy Signal access to its country following a 15 year hiatus, an extradition, and subsequent jail time some four years ago.
In 2012, dance-hall deejay was extradited to the United States. He pleaded guilty to absconding bail in 2002 and served 6 months in prison before being deported to Jamaica.
Busy Signal who is currently in New York, teased fans on his official Instagram page with a video and several pics including one on an airplane before revealing that he is in the United States.
Standing next to a welcome to New York sign, Busy Signal captioned the pic “fresh from yard; thanks be to God; thank to the USA; Fresh from yard after 15 long years.”
Busy Signal is the latest dance-hall deejay to have his US visa reinstated. Last year, dance-hall entertainers Sizzla, Aidonia, and Elephant Man had their US visa returned.
