English Premier League leaders Chelsea have suffered a setback to their hopes of coming away with all three points from Saturday’s visit to reigning champions Leicester City.
It comes with the news that in-form striker Diego Costa has been left out of the squad to face the Wes Morgan led Leicester after a dispute with a club fitness coach, in which manager Antonio Conte got involved
According to The Telegraph, the Spain international has not trained with the rest of the Chelsea squad for the past three days and has not travelled for the match which kicks-off at 12:30 Jamaica time.
The news comes amid reports that Costa is the subject of an offer to move to china that would be worth £30 million pounds annually.
Costa who joined the blues in 2014 for 32 million, leads the league in scoring this season with 14 goals to go along with five assists.
Chelsea meanwhile leads the table on 49 points – 5 ahead of second place Liverpool who play away to arch-rivals Manchester United on Sunday.
