KINGSTON, Jamaica — A Romanian who is said to be the mastermind behind an automated teller machine (ATM) scam was arrested yesterday along with a Jamaican at the Scotiabank ATM at the Pavilion Mall in Half-Way-Tree.

The men were found with in excess of J$180, 000 by teams from the Half-Way-Tree and Hunts Bay CIB who were acting on information.

It is alleged that the men used department store cards from overseas to carry out the scamming.
